Our team of partners have
many years of experience living and working in South Asia. We all
continue to travel regularly to South Asia and are in contact with
a number of South Asian networks in the diaspora.

Ram Gidoomal CBE
B.Sc. (Hons), ARCS, Dip Th, DipMS FRSA Formerly Chief Executive of the Inlaks Group UK
and analyst for Lloyds Bank International. Chairman of four charitable
trusts, three with a remit to serve Asians. Director or Trustee of
a wide range of business development schemes. Lectures widely on cross
cultural communication and management training. Author of several
books.
Deepak Mahtani
BA Business degree from Sophia University in Tokyo
and American College, Switzerland. Former commercial director for
a large multi-national in Geneva where he was involved in strategic
diversification and development of product ranges and export markets.
Wide experience of cross-cultural business dealings in the Far East,
Africa and Europe. He is currently director of a UK purchasing and
confirming house and International Director of South Asian Development
Partnership.
Robin Thomson MA, M Th. Spent 20 years in India teaching and training in
individual and non-formal settings. Helped to develop open lecture
programmes for institutional leaders at local and national levels
and a programme to locate and facilitate professionals for service
in less developed areas. Currently heading a training centre
for cross-cultural understanding and leadership development in the
South Asian community. Lecturer and writer of several books
including "Entering Another World" and "AWay of Life - Introducing Hinduism".
Paul East
MHSM, Dip. HSM Management experience in the NHS followed by twenty
years in South Asia and the Middle East in project management, strategic
planning, personnel development and welfare. Developed and
ran health management training programme for the voluntary sector
in India. Currently a Human Resources Consultant specialising
in cross-cultural issues, he is Chairman and board member of a number
of UK charities related to health, development and capacity building.
Member of the Editorial Board of "Tropical Doctor".
Suneel Shivdasani M.Sc, B.Sc. (Hons), Dip. Th. Three years in the shipping industry. Two years
as a Financial consultant, Eight years in the public sector in computing:
programming, systems analysis and other areas. Lecturer on various
subjects including cross-cultural issues, statistics & data management.
Recently completed a survey of the IT industry in Pakistan, looking
at the prospects for e-commerce, and initiated the Forum for IT Change.
